CHEDI embarked on a mapping exercise of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) in Wassa and Burum rural communities in Abuja FCT. Where the result reveals that the communities are without health centers, lacked electricity, enterprising market, portable water and just has a nomadic primary school.During the programme, we recorded a total of 590 enrollments and registration into different support services.
CHEDI provided tuition fees for two hundred and twenty (220) vulnerable children, distributed scholastic materials to one hundred and thirty-three (133 VC i.e 70 Males and 63 Females). Enrolled and registered 120 VC in Oboama Ezinihitte Community of Imo State.
